Proposed NSPIRE Standards

NSPIRE standards are provided for your review and comment. HUD will continue publishing additional standards over the coming months. HUD is looking for your specific input about the clarity of the deficiencies, the accuracy of the rationales, and the overall usability of these standards.

The NSPIRE represents a complete change to the current UPCS standards. No longer will “Levels of Deficiency” be used (Levels 1 through 3), but a clearer “Yes” or “No” to a listing of entirely revamped potential defects.
